Yellow Mountains
I was inspired to give life to this beautiful wallpaper picture (original source unknown) Turning it into an actual 3d scene using projection mapping technic with Photoshop and Maya. The opening to be like the opening shot from Disney- The Rescuers 2, where the camera's goes from static to fast dolly forward on a precise cue, here the owl flaying away. -The helicopters were animated and rendered in Maya. -The owl was rotoscoped in After Affect and the compositing, effects and sounds in After Effect.
Gravity
Gravity Matte painting of clouds (2 shots). The rock was a place holder; to be replace with any object, but potentially a sky diver in free fall. Rock is stock footage, clouds are color corrected and assembled in Photoshop, animation and compositing in After Effects.
Canyon
Matte painting made from multiples photo sources are color corrected and assembled in Photoshop, animation and 3d layered compositing in After Effects.
